Your 7-day Kathmandu Valley and Chitwan tour begins in the valley where you visit a number of UNESCO World Heritage Sites scattered in Kathmandu, Lalitpur (Patan) and Bhaktapur, which are all cities within the Kathmandu Valley. These sites showcase Kathmandus rich cultural heritage such as its architectural marvels and the ancient Hindu and Buddhist relics. During this trip we also visit Nagarkot, a village in the hills of Bhaktapur, which is an ideal place for stunning Himalayan views. We end our tour in Chitwan, famous for housing Chitwan National Park which is another World Heritage Site. In the steamy sub-tropical jungles of Chitwan we enjoy bird-watching and a laidback safari by elephant-back while also getting acquainted to the tribal culture of the region.

Day 01 : Arrival in Kathmandu (1,300 m/4,264 ft) Upon our arrival in Kathmandu, Amis Himalaya Adventure will arrange to pick us up from the airport. We will then be transferred to Hotel. We can either visitAmis Himalaya Adventure office in Kapan or take a rest at our hotel room during the late afternoon. In the evening, there will be a welcome dinner hosted by Amis Himalaya Adventure . For dinner, you will be served excellent Nepalese cuisine which will introduce you to the country's food culture. Day 02 : Sightseeing in Kathmandu: Kathmandu Durbar Square, Pashupatinath Temple, Swayambhunath and Bauddhanath After breakfast, we begin our sightseeing tour by visiting UNESCO World Heritage Sites within Kathmandu. Kathmandu Durbar Square showcases Nepalese art and architecture at its best. The architecture is typical of the Malla dynasty who ruled over Nepal from the 12th to the 18th century. Swayambhunath Temple is popular among the foreigners as the Monkey Temple owing to the large monkey population residing in the area. Pashupatinath Temple is situated on the banks of river Bagmati and is one of the principal temples of Lord Shiva. The Bauddhanath Stupa is one of the largest stupas in South Asia which is built on the ancient trade route to Tibet. Included meals:B
Day 03 : Sightseeing in Patan and Bhaktapur and Sunrise or Sunset views from Nagarkot Listed in the UNESCO World Heritage Sites, Patan Durbar Square is rich in ancient arts and architecture. We also visit Bhakatpur, an irresistible city with an authentic local lifestyle preserved over centuries of isolation from the hustle and bustle of Kathmandu. While in the city square, we get to admire the Nyata-Pola Temple, the Golden Gate, water spouts and the 55 Window Palace which merge together to provide an ambience of a magical outdoor theater to its visitors. We also immerse ourselves in the authentic delicacy of the locals in Bhaktapur. Today we also visit Nagarkot, a village in Bhaktapur which sits at 7,200 ft and boasts stunning Himalayan vistas. It is also renowned for its sunrise and sunset views of the Himalayas. Depending on your choice, we will visit Nagarkot either for sunrise or for sunset. Included meals:B
Day 04 : Drive to Chitwan (815 m/2,674 ft): 4-5 hours Today we take an early morning breakfast and drive to Chitwan located 175 kilometers from Kathmandu. We descend down along the winding road on the banks of the Trishuli River. After checking in to the hotel,there will be a briefing on the activities we will be engaged in during our stay in Chitwan.We then walk on the banks of the Rapti River to enjoy the sunset in the sub-tropical jungles of Chitwan. In the evening, we enjoy dinner along with a brief cultural program showcasing the tribal dances unique to the Chitwan region of Nepal. Included meals:BLD
Day 05 : Chitwan National Park Early in the morning, we will be mounted on elephants for a jungle safari through dense grasslands to witness wildlife in its natural habitat. After breakfast, we visit the elephant stables and even enjoy bathing the elephants. During the afternoon we can drive through the jungles followed by a canoe ride down the Rapti River. While canoeing, we may get a close look at the Gharial and Mugger crocodiles along with fresh water dolphins, otters and varieties of water birds.Or,we may even go for bird watching or nature walks and come closer to a variety of wild flora and fauna found in the park.Overnight in Chitwan. Day 06 : Drive from Chitwan to Kathmandu Early in the morning, we spend our time bird-watching as Chitwan National Park is also home to a large variety of resident and migratory birds. We then have breakfast and drive towards Kathmandu. We reach there by evening and enjoy our farewell dinner to celebrate a successful end of our trip in Nepal. Included meals:BD
Day 07 : Final departure Our Kathmandu Valley and Chitwan Tour in Nepal comes to an end today! A representative from Himalayan Glacier will take us to the airport approximately 3 hours before the scheduled flight. Included meals:B
